Student Success Statement
“Nothing in the world can take the
place of PERSISTENCE.
TALENT will not; nothing is more common
than unsuccessful men with talent.
GENIUS will not; unrewarded genius is
almost a proverb.
EDUCATION
will not; the world
is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are
omnipotent. The slogan ‘ Press On” has solved and always will solve the
problems of the human race.”
President Calvin Coolidge
30th president of US (1872-1933)
Reflection:
Having confidence
and knowing what you want to be will make you a famous person but even successful.
When you persevere and never give up you’ll reach high standards. There is
nothing bigger than persistence because that’s the key to high achievements and
being able to reach you goals. Without persistence nothing would be valuable or
done.
Example:
When you
want to be a basketball player or get in a team you’ll always need to try your
best and be the best that you can be. Otherwise you won’t achieve anything.
When you feel like you can’t or you feel like you’re going to give up make that
into motivation because being tired or stress means you’re persistence and that
is the key to all your goals and to be successful.
